Simply Sublime and Beautiful empire waist gown by Guy Laroche! The black maxi dress is sleeveless with a high scoop neck. The dress features a beautiful cluster of black rhinestones and Rock beads centered on the front of the dress between the bust line and the waist line. Fabric flows freely from the front of the dress, gathering under the dazzling cluster. There is a petaled slit in the front of the dress, revealing an under-skirt like second layer. The dress is lined and has a double closure, snaps for the lining and a zipper for the exterior fabric.
The dress was designed by Guy Laroche and fabricated by Maria Carine, a French couturier. Carine worked with many designers and design houses throughout her career, including Jaques Heim, Lanvin - Castillo, and Jean Dresses.

Gorgeous! This dress is an excellent testament to Stephen Burrow’s bold use of color and distinct, dramatic draping. The floor - length dress is composed of a bright red - orange jersey knit wear fabric, and has an accent center seam running the full length of the front of the dress. The dress features a deep, wide v - neck, and short flutter sleeves. The flutter sleeves are pulled in at the back of the dress, into a waterfall - like drape. France's finest designers were pitted against their American counterparts in the 1973 runway "Battle of Versailles." When looking at this dress, we are reminded of Yves Saint Laurent conceding sartorial defeat in the face of Stephen Burrow's designs. Go Stephen!

Absolutely stunning. This sheer 1920s evening dress is absolutely stunning. The dress is primarily made of black chiffon and features two embroidered panels in the front and one in the back. All panels display blooming roses made of interwoven gold metallic thread. The tea - length dress has gathered fabric on both sides at hip level, as well as some panels on the lower half of the long sleeves. The sleeves, front of the dress, and back of the dress are decorated with gold cord trim. This gorgeous evening gown can be dated back to around 1925, and was acquired from the distinguished Suddon-Cleaver Collection in Toronto.

Sold through Neiman Marcus, this three-piece silk burnout camisole and skirt ensemble can be worn for almost any occasion, any time of day and almost any time of year. The ensemble is comprised of two layers, a black silk burn out top layer with beige lining. Both layers are semi-sheer. The jacket is not lined. Wonderful addition to any wardrobe.
