Made in London, museum quality 1975 Bill Gibb pale pink knit coat, skirt, and scarf featuring a folkloric-inspired pattern. The coat highlights dramatic kimono style sleeves and ties at both front and back. The skirt has a waistline that ties at one side and a scalloped side hem. The complementing scarf is narrow with fringed ends. Many ways to wear as an ensemble and each piece can be worn as a stand alone statement piece any time of year. Bill Gibb the British iconic designer of the 1970's drew his prints on paper and with the knit wear guru Keffe Fassett turned his art into fashion for all to enjoy. His pieces are very collectible and found in museum's around the globe.

Couturier to the English Royal family, the great Norman Hartnell designed this dress exclusively for Neiman Marcus, making it one of the first dresses to be made exclusively for the store by a British Couturier. This perfectly designed black wool dress has deep bust darts. Black bugle beads and small round beads are used to create a simple design line adding interest and classic appeal to this dress. Fantastic 1960's cotton green floral print with floral lace trim shift dress by Shifts International of Miami. Much like their contemporary, Lilly Pulitzer, Shifts Internationale Designs were also from Miami and made whimsical botanical prints. The company was created by Hawaiian textile designer Dior Vargas. Very little information can be found about any collaboration between Vargas and Pulitzer at the time, except that a few of textile designers we spoke with during our research recall his employment by Pulitzer. Whatever the connection, we love the look!* This fantastic sleeveless long sheath boasts floral lace on the neckline, princess seams, waist line and hem throughout the dress. Closes with a green metal zipper down the back. Dress is unlined and has facing around the collar area.
Dior Vargas (1930-2009) was a prolific Hawaiian artist who specialized in print works. Vargas studied under Takeo Nakamura, a Japanese artist who had mastered the technique, for six years. Vargas created works that were a mix of post modern American and traditional Japanese styles, and extended his medium, applying batik to various surfaces including at one point a grand piano, and a 1928 Ford Phaeton. Clients include: Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Adnan Khashoggi, Cher, Princess Diana, Sean Connery, Angie Dickenson.

Stunning Missoni coat and dress ensemble. Vibrant shades of blue, teal and metallic gold give this dress an element of daytime extravagance along with it's sheer silk fabric that ties at neck back with long tails creating drama with just a slight breeze. The upper bodice and three quarter length flounced sleeves are sheer teal silk with gold, teal and green trim in a loopy design on the chest, arms and hem of the dress. Patterned knit fabric is intertwined with metallic threads adding a touch of glitz. The collared jacket is double breasted and features 6 metallic gold fabric covered buttons and a blue belt. The jacket is fully lined in the same teal liner as the dress and is 100% silk.

1960s Jim Thompson Golden Yellow Thai Silk Dress

Rare and absolutely beautiful 1960's Jim Thompson Thai silk dress. Fully lined in silk, this fabulous yellow,orange and white print silk dress is perfect for any occasion. The silk fabric covers the buttons throughout the dress. The buttons sit atop a solid silk shantung - like border. This dress is absolutely beautiful!!! The former owner of this piece is said to have purchased this dress while vacationing in Thailand prior to Mr. Thompson's mysterious disappearance. Therefore, the piece was made prior to 1967 and has withstood the test of time in excellent vintage condition. MRS Couture's initial reaction was that the garment was late 70's or very early 80's. We have been unable to verify the date.

Graceful 1960's Gino Charles multi color and metallic gold brocade evening dress with sequins and beading. The dress has short structured sleeves and a round yet subtle V-neckline.
