Description

This gorgeous demi parure by Coppola e Toppo features a matching necklace and earrings. The necklace is composed of multiple rows of crystal royal blue and sky blue beads woven together into a thick collar - like choker necklace. The necklace has large dangling multifaceted blue acrylic beads at the outer edges and a bronze clasp ornamented by round blue beads. The earrings are blue multifaceted bead clusters with a bronze clip on backing.

Coppola e Toppo was founded in the late 1940s by Milanese siblings Bruno Coppola and Lydia Toppo, but it wasn’t until 1960s, when Dior commissioned runway pieces from them, that the brand took off. Between the 1950s and through until the 1980s, Coppola e Toppo collaborated with many other fashion houses and designers, including Balenciaga, Valentino, Emilio Pucci, and Elsa Schiaparelli. Their work is distinctly elegant, elaborate, and bold, masterfully mixing glass beads with Swarovski crystals and lucite.
