Spectacular 1950s tortoise-shell-look Lucite box purse. The handbag features a rectangular body composed of amber-tone tortoiseshell Lucite, accented with stamped gold-tone filigree details, and is supported on the bottom by four gold-tone spherical ball feet. The filigree depicts a five-petaled flower as well as ornate flourishes, both in relief. The elongated, amber-tone handle of the purse is affixed to the body of the purse with teardrop-shaped hardware. The purse features a twist lock with a pull tab closure. All hardware is gold-tone.
