Wonderfully bright daisy brooch and earrings set by Weiss! The brooch depicts a flower, likely a daisy, composed of solid yellow marquise cut rhinestones, with a clear multifaceted orange center, a clear green emerald cut rhinestone stem, and light green marquise cut leaves. The earrings are tiny flowers with pear cut petals and a center composed of a single orange jewel. Gold - tone back. Signature on reverse.
Albert Weiss began his career as a jewelry designer for Coro and Marvella during the 1930s, he eventually struck out on his own, creating Weiss in 1942. Weiss created high-end costume jewelry; they were initially recognized for their fine figural, but also became known for pioneering various style and design trends. Weiss was one of the first companies to use aurora borealis rhinestone Swarovski crystals (developed in conjunction with Dior in the 1950s), as well as pioneering the use of smoky rhinestones, enamel, and black japanned settings. Weiss jewelry is somewhat difficult to find, as it was only in operation between 1942 and 1971.

Gorgeous bold green choker necklace and earrings set made of famous bohemian glass! The dangling earrings are composed of a bold rectangular glass beads anchored by baroque swirls beset with milgrain details.
