Description

Fabulous multistrand orange necklace by Coppola e Toppo! The necklace is composed of nine separate strands of beads brought together at the ends by the decorated clasp. The clasps of the necklace are composed of a triangular bronze base decorated by orange beads -the clasp can be worn both on the front of the neck and on the back. The clear tangerine multifaceted crystal beads absorb and reflect the light beautifully.

Coppola e Toppo was founded in the late 1940s by Milanese siblings Bruno Coppola and Lydia Toppo, but it wasn’t until 1960s, when Dior commissioned runway pieces from them, that the brand took off. Between the 1950s and through until the 1980s, Coppola e Toppo collaborated with many other fashion houses and designers, including Balenciaga, Valentino, Emilio Pucci, and Elsa Schiaparelli. Their work is distinctly elegant, elaborate, and bold, masterfully mixing glass beads with Swarovski crystals and lucite.
