Andre Courreges was known for his streamlined, futuristic works that defined the mod style of the 1960s. He was even nicknamed "The Space Age" designer because of his geometric designs (perhaps inspired by his time as a pilot in the French Air Force, or his studies as a civil engineer) and incorporation of metals, plastic, and PVC. This fabulous coat is a testament to his design skills and fine taste!

Note: The final, bottom button on the coat is not original and differs in design from the other buttons. See image 9.
