Incredibly intact and designed mesh bag from the Mandolin Mfg Company. This bag features a thick flat mesh with a pastel pink and blue floral designed painted onto it. The design takes influence from the designers heritage and closely resembles traditional Turkish style rugs. The kiss lock is also very ornate with its floral motifs and detailed frame. Mandalian Bags stand the test of time and continue to be a staple for any vintage enthusiast or fashionista!
Not much is known about Sahatiel Mandalian, He was an Armeninan immigrant born in Constantinople, Turkey who actually patented the flat mesh machine and painted flat mesh idea a good 5 years before Whiting and Davis!
